(FULLERTON, Calif.) PLNU Women's Track & Field performed well at the Ben Brown Invitational on Friday and Saturday in Fullerton.
Â
Danielle Gould won the pole vault, while
Sarah McGarry finished as runner-up in the 400 meter hurdles, as six Sea Lions moved up or into the program's Top-10 List.
Â
Gould's vault of 3.65 meters won her the event and moved her into a tie for eighth place in the program record books. She was one of three Sea Lions who finished in the top-five in the pole vault, as
Brianne Camarena (3.50 meters) and
Peyton Yoshida (3.35 meters) placed fourth and fifth respectively.

McGarry's time of 61.14 seconds placed in her second position out of 21 runners and moves her up to third in program history in the event.
Â
Angelica Gomes (56.09 seconds) finished in fourth place out of 45 runners in the 400 meters, as she now finds herself in third on PLNU's Top-10 List.

Maddie Reeves (17:08.14) won Heat 2 in the 5,000 meters, finishing 14th overall out of 73 participants to move up to fourth in program history in the event.
Â
Makenna Sullivan leaped a career-best 11.45 meters in the triple jump to place sixth in the event. She now ranks fifth all-time in program history.

Madi Simmers (12.39 seconds) moved up to ninth in PLNU history in the 100 meters. Lily Gomez (12.26 seconds) finished 12th in the event.
