(AZUSA, Calif.) PLNU Women's Track & Field competed at the Franson Last Chance on Friday and Saturday in its final meet of the season before the NCAA Championships.
 
Angelica Gomes (400 meters) and Lia Markert (3,000-meter steeplechase) both ran personal-best times in their respective events.
 
Gomes ran 55.03 seconds in the 400 meters to strengthen her hold on second place in the program's Top-10 List. Markert crossed the 3,000-meter steeplechase finish line in 11:13, improving her standing in fifth place among Sea Lions all-time.
 
Brianne Camarena and Peyton Yoshida both recorded a mark of 3.73 meters in the pole vault to finish third and fourth respectively.
 
The NCAA Championships field will be announced on Tuesday afternoon. Seven Sea Lions recorded provisional qualifying marks this season.
