(SAN DIEGO) Fall sports are returning to The Point in exactly one month.
PLNU Men's Soccer, Women's Soccer and Volleyball all open their 2026 seasons on Aug. 27 before Women's Cross Country has its season-opening meet a week later on Sep. 3.
Volleyball
The reigning NCAA West Regional champions will begin their 2026 campaign in Washington at the CWU Volleyball Invitational, hosted by Central Washington, playing three matches against Western Washington (Aug. 27), Central Washington (Aug. 28) and Simon Fraser (Aug. 29).
Point Loma will then return home to host the Seaside Invitational in Golden Gym with matchups against Dallas Baptist (Sep. 3), Winona State (Sep. 4) and Colorado Christian (Sep. 5).
PLNU is set to start PacWest play with a road match at Biola (Sep. 8) before playing its first conference home match against Hawai'i Pacific on Sep. 16.
Point Loma's 18-match PacWest schedule, with a pair of non-conference matches mixed in against Cal Poly Pomona (Oct. 1) and Cal State San Bernardino (Oct. 7), will then conclude with Senior Day on Nov. 7 against Westmont.
The PacWest Championships (Nov. 13-14) will be hosted in Costa Mesa by Vanguard before the NCAA West Regional (Nov. 19-21) and NCAA Championships (Dec. 3-5).

Men's Soccer
Fall footy returns to The Point on Aug. 27 when PLNU Men's Soccer hosts Cal State San Bernardino at 1 p.m. in a rematch of last season's NCAA Tournament Second Round thriller.
Point Loma then hosts Cal Poly Pomona (Aug. 29) before traveling to Washington to play at Western Washington (Sep. 3) and Seattle Pacific (Sep. 5).
After another road game at Cal State Dominguez Hills (Sep. 9), the Sea Lions return home to host Cal State Monterey Bay (Sep. 12). PLNU will then conclude its non-conference schedule with games against conference opponents, at Vanguard (Sep. 17) and home versus Westmont (Sep. 19).
Point Loma's conference slate starts with three straight home games, beginning on Sep. 24 against Chaminade. The Sea Lions will then close out their regular season on Halloween at Westmont (Oct. 31).
The PacWest Championships will be hosted by Dominican in San Rafael from Nov. 5-7, with the NCAA postseason scheduled to begin on Nov. 10.

Women's Soccer
PLNU will open its season out-of-state for the second straight year, this time in Colorado for a pair of games at UCCS (Aug. 27) and Metro State (Aug. 29).
The team will then alternate home and away games for its remaining six non-conference matchups, with home contests against Stanislaus State (Sep. 3), Cal State LA (Sep. 10) and Biola (Sep. 17) and away games in-between at Cal Poly Pomona (Sep. 5), Cal State San Marcos (Sep. 12) and Concordia (Sep. 19).
Point Loma will open its PacWest schedule on Sep. 24 when the Sea Lions host Chaminade as the first of three consecutive home games to begin conference play.
PLNU is set to conclude its PacWest slate on Oct. 31 at Westmont before the PacWest Championships in Hilo, Nov. 5-7.
The NCAA West Regional is scheduled to begin on Nov. 12.

Women's Cross Country
Point Loma will commence its 2026 season locally at the Aztec Coastal Classic on Sep. 3 before travelling to run in the Riverside Invite (Sep. 19).
The Sea Lions will then split their squad on Oct. 3 for the Louisville Classic in Kentucky and the Cougar Challenge, hosted by Cal State San Marcos.
The team's final two races before the postseason will be the Highlander Invite (Oct. 17), hosted by UC Riverside, and the Cal State Fullerton John Elders Titan Invite (Oct. 23).
The PacWest Championships are slated for Nov. 8 in Rocklin, followed by the NCAA West Regional (Nov. 21) and NCAA Championships (Dec. 5).
