INDIANAPOLIS - The Point Loma men's golf team is in 10th place with a 308 (+20) and
Oscar Casillas leads the team with a 2-over 74 through the first two rounds of the NAIA Classic (Apr. 8).
Playing in tough conditions and high winds on the par-72 Brickyard Crossing Golf Course the Sea Lions had four golfers post scores in the 70s. Casillas, who is tied for 15th, led the way with a 74 (+2).
Cole Reese followed Casillas with a 4-over 76.
Zane Keith and
Jack Koeller are tied with 79s (+7).
Lee University leads the tournament with a 3-over 291. LU is one stroke up on Grand View University (292, +4) and two strokes up on University of the Cumberlands (293, +5). Lee University's Matt Emery leads the tournament with a 70 (-2).
The final round of the NAIA Classic will be tomorrow (Apr. 9) at 11:00 a.m.
