SAN DIEGO - Sebastian Rus comes to The Point out of Fountain Valley High School and midfielder will join the Sea Lions' 2021 recruiting class.
 
"Sebastian is another player that we look forward to working with over the next four years," explained PLNU head coach Phil Wolf. "A true holding midfield player, Sebastian has all the tools he needs to control the game. He is a good passer of the ball, understands the role of the pivot, and is an excellent leader. His influence is going to be huge as we seek to control every game."
 
The 2021 graduate was a three-time team MVP, two-time league MVP, and two-time all-league selection during his four-year career with the Barons. The incoming freshman will be majoring in Kinesiology at Point Loma.
 
"PLNU has a great Kinesiology program, a beautiful campus, and I can't wait to play soccer there," said Rus about why he chose to come to Point Loma.
 
Rus joins Adam Landy, Christian Hodson, Reggie Duce, Tyler Trausch, Luca Quieroz, and James Hill in the 2021 recruiting class.
