Josh Colace is one of the best golfers in school history. He lettered for four years at Point Loma Nazarene University (1998 – 2002), and was named the team’s Most Valuable Golfer three times. Josh also earned a spot on the NAIA All-Region II squad three times and received NAIA All-American honors in 2001 and 2002.

Josh finished fifth at the 2001 NAIA Championships and placed 12th in 2002. In his junior year, he posted a stroke average of 74.82, which is 13th lowest of all-time for a PLNU golfer.

However, Josh’s best season came in his senior year of 2002 when he carried a scoring average of 73, third lowest of all-time at Point Loma. Of the 12 tournaments in which he competed in during that season, Josh finished sixth or better 10 times, including one third place finish and two second place finishes. He won the PLNU/ Smee Builder's Invitational (the only Point Loma golfer to achieve that feat) and also won the NAIA Region II Championship.

Josh graduated from Point Loma in 2002. He works in real estate and makes San Diego his home.
