Hall of Fame
PLNU alumnus Tim Hall coached soccer at his alma mater from 1996-2017, accumulating 270 wins between his time with the men’s and women’s teams.
He coached the men’s team for 16 seasons from 1996-2011 and coached the women’s squad for 10 years from 2008-2017, earning over 100 wins with each program. He is the the winningest coach in both PLNU Men's Soccer and PLNU Women's Soccer history.
The four-time Conference Coach of the Year led the Lady Sea Lions to an NAIA national runner-up finish in 2009, being named the San Diego Union Tribune Coach of the Year and the NAIA Coach of Character.
In 2011, Hall led the team a third-place finish at the NAIA Championships after winning the Golden State Athletic Conference title.
Upon its transition to NCAA Division II, Hall continued his success as head coach, leading the Point Loma women to its first two PacWest championships in 2014 and 2015.
A team captain and MVP as a player, Hall continues to serve the PLNU athletic department as Faculty Athletic Representative while teaching psychology and PE classes on campus.
