Rodrigo Suarez is arguably the best men’s tennis player in Point Loma history.
Each year from 2001-2003, Suarez was an NAIA First Team All-American, becoming the only three-time First Team All-American in program history.
He is the program’s all-time leader in career singles wins with 64, while his 27 singles wins in a season rank second most among Sea Lions all-time.
He is also second all-time at PLNU with a .790 winning % in singles play, while in doubles his 23 wins in 2002 are the most in a single season in PLNU history.
In his first season on The Point, he led Point Loma to a program record 18 wins and to the Golden State Athletic Conference regular season title.
